Carson River Coalition (CRC)

“It’s all about relationships”

The CRC has worked together develop the following regional planning documents:

Carson River Watershed Adaptive Stewardship Plan 2006.  This plan meets the EPA criteria elements for watershed based plans.   Regional Floodplain Management Plan 2008.  Adopted by all counties along the Carson River and approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

We also work together to develop and implement a variety of projects and programs to include:

· Carson Clear Water Revival Program (Stormwater Best Management Practices for Community Members)

· Support for watershed groups and conservation districts

· Workshops and forums

· Newletters and e-mail communication  lists
