Rock hounding
Rock hounding is a popular activity due to the interesting geology of defining the basin and range. There are many opportunities for rock hounding or gold prospecting amongst the many well-defined fault lines throughout the watershed. Remember, poking around old mines is extremely dangerous. Stay out of buildings and mine shafts.
