The Alpine Watershed Group’s 15th Annual Markleeville Creek Day will take place on Saturday, August 23rd from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Interested volunteers will meet at the Markleeville Library Park at 9 a.m. and join one of several restoration projects throughout the watershed. Projects will include invasive weed removal, stream bank stabilization, willow planting, and trash cleanup.
